I have been lost for some time in a world of indecision and decision making, but finally I am back and ready to put pen to paper, or finger tip to key I suppose would be a more accurate way of describing it. J has been allocated his school place, and we get to trundle up to the posh school in the village, lucky old us, so we can now be officially part of the in crowd, although standing listening to people rant about their dealings with the customer service department at Next isn't my idea of a great afternoon's entertainment.
Poor old long suffering hubby is still toiling away in his sweaty kitchen and waiting for something more exciting and maybe even more sociable to come along and entice him out of the twilight world of a head chef. We can live in hope!
Monday we are off to Norfolk with the Old Girl to have a lovely holiday by the beach, and perhaps look at houses for when she makes the move back there, and leaves us all on our lonesome.
Great Ormond street looms again, and we will make the long trip to london to learn that J is fine and we can go back again in six months, although this time we are going to visit the Natural History Museum, and stay in a hotel, as very extravagant special treat. We deserve it.
